Shipping Policy (Excluding Kayaks)

Shipments within the contiguous 48 US States:
Taylor Tackle is currently offering FREE Shipping and Handling on all orders over $200.00, excluding Kayaks, via UPS Ground service or United States Postal Service within the contiguous 48 US States. If you prefer faster shipping, please select either UPS 3 Day Select, or UPS 2nd Day Air within the order form. UPS Next Day Air is available on most items, please contact us for a quote. Oversize, bulky, and multiple package shipments may require additional charges. You will be advised via email or phone of any additional shipping charges. Most in-stock items are shipped within 2 business days. If your order will not ship within 2 business days you will be notified via email or phone. Tracking Numbers and status are available through the Order Status Page.

Kayak Shipping

At Taylor Tackle purchasing and receiving your kayak is quick, simple and inexpensive. Our experienced Customer Support team will take every precaution to ensure your kayak arrives safe and on time. Typically, you will receive your kayak within 2-10 business days after placing the order.

We will verify each kayak order with a follow-up call the same day or the following day after the order was placed. During this call you will have the opportunity to request any custom rigging from our Pro Staff and most accessories purchased with a kayak can be installed for free, some restrictions apply.

If you live in Southern California you may choose to pick-up your kayak at our Canoga Park store, just select the "Store Pick-Up" option during the check-out process.

We have two kayak delivery options available:

1. Hub Delivery - $99.00 for most Hobie Kayaks $149 for Pro Angler or Island, $49.00 for all other kayak brands. Continental United States only.
   
   This is the default delivery method automatically added to your on-line kayak purchase. With the Hub Delivery, your kayak is delivered to a conveniently located pick up station in your area. Most of these stations are located within a 15-mile radius of an airport.
2. Residential Delivery - $120.00 (estimate, depends on your location and kayak). Continental United States only.
   
   With Residential Delivery, your kayak is delivered to your door. Residential deliveries require that someone be present to sign for the kayak. You will have the opportunity to choose Residential Delivery instead of Hub Delivery when we call you to discuss your kayak order. At that point, we will be able to give you the exact quote for Residential Delivery.

Kayak Shipping Process

1. Step 1: When placing your order, $49 hub delivery ($99 for Hobie Kayaks only) cost is automatically added to your kayak purchase.
2. Step 2: The same day or 1 day after placing your kayak order, we will call you to confirm your order. We will be happy to take down any custom rigging requests you may have. If you would rather have your kayak delivered right to your door, we will give you the exact quote for Residential Delivery.
3. Step 3: You will receive an e-mail from us once your kayak order has been shipped.
4. Step 4: Typically within 2-10 business days from placing your order, you will either receive a phone call to inform you that your kayak is ready for pick up from an Airport Hub, or a call from Residential Delivery service to confirm and schedule the time when you can accept delivery (signature is required!).
